DRIVING RANGE UPDATE

The Driving Range has recently had a $175,000 upgrade by Council to create a bigger, better and more sustainable practice range. Groundworks included landscaping, installation of drainage and automated irrigation, and replacement of the existing surface with drought-tolerant warm season grass, which will require less water and therefore be more sustainable. Driving Range features:

15 driving bays + 2 teaching bays
Fully floodlit for night use

FOUR MONTHS ON

Four months on and the new turf has become established. Concreting works have been completed so each bay now has a full-size synthetic hitting-stance mat to provide a better hitting area. A further three outdoor bays have been added and aligned to ensure a safer practice environment and the distance signage has been improved.
